1. Privacy at a glance
General information
The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally.
Data collection on this website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. Contact details can be found below in this privacy policy and in the legal notice (Impressum).
How do we collect your data?
Some data is collected when you provide it to us (for example, details entered in contact or maintenance forms). Other data is collected automatically or after your consent when you visit the website (for example, technical server log data or – after consent – Google Ads measurement data).
What do we use your data for?
Some data is collected to ensure the website works properly. Other data may be used to handle your inquiries or – only after consent – to measure and optimize our Google Ads advertising.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right to obtain information free of charge about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data at any time. You also have the right to request rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object. If you have given consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
2. General information and mandatory disclosures
Data protection
The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Performtec GmbH
Heinkelstr. 7-9
73230 Kirchheim unter Teck
Germany
Phone: +49 7021 57149-0
Email: office@performtec.de
The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.
Storage period
Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for processing no longer applies. If you request deletion or withdraw consent, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing it (for example, retention obligations under tax or commercial law); in that case, deletion takes place after those reasons cease to apply.
Withdrawal of consent
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You may withdraw consent at any time. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal remains unaffected. You can withdraw marketing cookie consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the website footer.
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
WHERE DATA PROCESSING IS BASED ON ART. 6(1)(E) OR (F) GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME, ON GROUNDS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION, TO PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THOSE PROVISIONS. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS THE AFFECTED DATA UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS THAT OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (ART. 21(1) GDPR).
WHERE PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO PROCESSING FOR SUCH MARKETING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING RELATED TO SUCH DIRECT MARKETING (ART. 21(2) GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint
In the event of breaches of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a commonly used, machine-readable format, where technically feasible.
Access, erasure and rectification
Within the framework of applicable law, you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of processing and, where applicable, a right to rectification or erasure of this data.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request restriction of processing of your personal data, in particular if you contest the accuracy of the data, processing is unlawful, we no longer need the data but you need it for legal claims, or you have objected under Art. 21(1) GDPR and it has not yet been determined whether our legitimate grounds override yours.
SSL/TLS encryption
This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser address changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock icon in your browser bar.
3. Hosting and server log files
Hosting
This website is operated with a professional hosting provider (currently typically via a cloud/hosting platform such as Vercel). Personal data generated when visiting the website may be processed (for example IP address, timestamps, requested files, browser and device information). Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, fast and reliable provision of our online offering. Where a data processing agreement exists with the hosting provider, processing takes place within that framework.
Server log files
The site provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits. This may include in particular:
- browser type and version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- host name of the accessing computer
- time of the server request
- IP address
We do not combine this data with other data sources. Collection is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (technical provision and security of the website).
4. Cookies and consent
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar storage technologies. Essential website functions do not require marketing consent. Optional marketing technologies (Google Ads / conversion measurement) are enabled only after your consent.
Cookie consent banner
This website uses its own cookie consent banner to obtain and document your decision regarding optional marketing cookies. Your decision (accept or reject) is stored locally in your browser (local storage, key including “performtec_cookie_consent”). This storage is used solely to implement and document your choice and is not shared by us with third parties for analytics purposes.
You can change your decision at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. The legal basis for using the banner is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (compliance with legal obligations to obtain consent) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in demonstrable, user-friendly consent management).
5. Contact and forms
Contact form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the information you provide in the form (for example name, company, email address, phone number, message, and where applicable partner information), including the contact details you provide, will be processed for the purpose of handling the inquiry and any follow-up questions.
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual measures. In other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in effectively handling inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent where requested (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Maintenance requests
For maintenance service requests we use a separate form. Data you provide there is also processed to handle your request. Legal bases correspond to those for the contact form (Art. 6(1)(b) and/or (f) GDPR, and where applicable (a) GDPR).
Email delivery via Resend
To technically deliver form messages to us, we use the email service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). Data you enter in the form is transmitted to Resend to the extent necessary to send the email. Resend acts as our processor/service provider. Transfers to the USA may occur; Resend relies on appropriate safeguards (for example Standard Contractual Clauses) and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable. More information: https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
Data collected in connection with an inquiry remains with us until you request deletion, withdraw consent, or the purpose of storage ceases to apply (for example after the inquiry has been fully handled). Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Inquiries by email, phone or fax
If you contact us by email, phone or fax, your inquiry including resulting personal data will be stored and processed to handle your request. Legal bases: Art. 6(1)(b) and/or (f) GDPR, and where applicable (a) GDPR.
Anti-spam measures
Our forms may include technical measures against automated submissions (for example honeypot fields or timing checks). These serve to prevent abuse on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
6. Google Ads and conversion measurement
On this website we use the Google tag (gtag.js) for Google Ads with the ID AW-1061291827. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).
This allows us to measure the success of our Google Ads campaigns (conversion tracking), for example when, after an ad click, an inquiry is completed via our contact or maintenance form and the thank-you page is opened. Cookies or similar technologies may be used and data such as IP address, device/browser information, page views and conversion events may be transmitted to Google. Transfers to the USA may occur.
We use Google’s Consent Mode. Marketing-related storage and personalized use are disabled by default and are enabled only if you consent via the cookie banner. Without consent we do not set marketing cookies for Google Ads; in that case Google may at most receive limited cookieless signals for aggregated measurement models where technically provided.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time via cookie settings.
We currently do not use Google Analytics and do not use a separate Google Tag Manager container (GTM-…). The Google tag in use is for Google Ads measurement.

7. Google Maps
A Google Maps embed is integrated on the contact page. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
To display the map, a connection to Google servers may be established and in particular your IP address may be transmitted to Google. Processing may also take place in the USA.
The embed is used to make our company location easy to find. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where consent is legally required or requested, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; consent may be withdrawn.

This website may contain links to external services (for example WhatsApp or PDF downloads). When you click such links, the privacy notices of the respective providers apply. We generally have no influence on their data processing.
9. Updates
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements and reflects the actual data processing on this website.
